TRAVEL ESSENTIALS: URBANEARS HEADPHONES
I am finally back in Los Angeles, ready for Summer! For those of you going places this season, I wanted to share some travel essentials, specially when travelling by plane: the headphones. My favourites at the moment are these from Urbanears, from their Plattan and Bagis collection. I like the design, they make them in beautiful tones, and my favourite thing: you can plug them together! We like to watch shows together from the laptop when in a plane, so being able to connect both our headphones to the same handle is super convenient. I took photo of the ones we used for our last trip, the cream and the tomato!
Que bien estar de vuelta en Los Angeles para el verano! Para aquellos que os vayais de vacaciones a algun sitio, queria compartir uno de mis esenciales de viaje, especialmente cuando viajo en avión: los auriculares. Mis favoritos son de Urbanears, de sus colecciones Plattan y Bagis. Me gusta el diseño, los hacen en tonos monos, y lo mejor es que los puedes conectar entre ellos! Nos gusta ver series juntos en el ordenador cuando viajamos, asi que poder conectar los auriculares de uno con los del otro para escuchar a la vez es genial. He hecho foto de los que usamos en nuestro ultimo viaje, en color crema y color tomate!

FREIXENET SUMMER: THE MONTAUK BEACH HOUSE
The #FreixenetSummer started with a coolhunting trip to Montauk, vacation getaway for the New York hip scene. We followed Paul Sevigny to The Montauk Beach House, this boutique hotel has programmed a much anticipated summer music line up where Paul was asked to DJ. MAKE UP SUMMER ESSENTIALS: BENEFIT COSMETICS
Some time ago I had the opportunity to work with Benefit Cosmetics, being able to have a beauty session with one of their gurus, Sylvie Abot (pictured). I discovered these products, super light and easy to apply, that have become my make up essentials for this summer. Photos with Sylvie are by Patrick McMullan and I took the photo of the products below with my phone.

BORN IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
Days ago in Barcelona we met some friends in a terrace, all very spontaneous. Without planning it, two of our musician friends - pictured - Victor Pua (from Spanish National TV, and their "American Idol" version) and Lorenz Ekengren (The Walkers - Sunset Records) brought their guitars and played in a beautiful afternoon. On the table, altogether with good Spanish olives and other light appetizers, the pillars of the Mediterranean palate were served: Estrella Damm beer and Rene Barbier white. Rene Barbier is my favourite wine for the Summer, it's light like water and tastes like heaven. And so inexpensive even musicians can afford it! Today the blog is dedicated to Summer, friends, and the good life: Mediterranean style.
Hace unos dias en Barcelona nos reunimos con amigos en una terraza, todo muy improvisado. Sin planearlo entre ellos, dos de nuestros amigos músicos - en la foto - Victor Pua (TVE, Operacion Triunfo) y Lorenz Ekengren (The Walkers - Sunset Records) trajeron sus guitarras y se pusieron a tocar en una preciosa tarde. En la mesa, junto a unas buenas olivitas y otros aperitivos ligeros, se sirvieron las bebidas pilar del paladar mediterraneo: cerveza Estrella Damm y vino blanco Rene Barbier. De hecho mi vino favorito para el verano siempre es Rene Barbier, ligero como el agua y esta super rico. Tan asequible que hasta los musicos se lo pueden permitir! Hoy el blog esta dedicado al verano, los amigos, y la buena vida: al estilo mediterráneo.

I enjoyed this beautiful suite at the New York Palace few years ago along with my cousin (pictured) and a friend of ours, a luxurious stay, a hotel as hotels must be: a home away from home.

The Dream is the best place to stay if you don't want to miss anything; everything happens around it and everything ends at the infamous club Electric Room downstairs. It was where the Freixenet Fashion Suite took place during NYFW past September.
El Dream es el mejor hotel donde quedarse si no te quieres perder nada porque todo sucede alrededor de el y todo termina en su famoso club Electric Room en el sótano. Fue donde tomo lugar la Freixenet Fashion Suite en la semana de la moda de NYC del pasado septiembre.
I remember being locked in this room at The Jane working for three days in a row right before New York Fashion Week started in February 2012, eating the same sandwich everyday from downstairs. But we had our compensation, thanks to Freixenet and Rosa Clara.

Another of my stops during my most recent visit to NYC, the Nolitan is a new boutique hotel in Kenmare. I liked the room because it had a good workspace and the style of the hotel is very cute.
Otra de mis paradas durante mi mas reciente viaje a NYC, el Nolitan es un nuevo hotel boutique en la iconica calle Kenmare. Me gusto la habitacion porque estaba muy bien para poder trabajar y el estilo del hotel era muy mono.
