BE CHIC BY GIVING EVENT AT BCBG FIFTH AVENUE
On the night of the BCBG show during NYFW, Lubov and Max Azria welcomed us at their Fifth Avenue store for a good cause. They had teamed up with Fashion Delivers to create the charity action of "Be Chic By Giving": they will donate an item for every apparel purchase made at any of their stores. LA CREME DE LACREME BEAUTE
MAYFAIR, LONDON
Last week while I was in London I discovered the products of Lacreme Beaute. It started like a cult product in the neighborhoods of Chelsea, Kensington, and Mayfair and it's quickly spreading a following from Manhattan in New York to Malibu and Hollywood in California. What's their secret? Bee Venom and Roses. All organic. They have mastered organic to the next level, and their clients are said to notice miracle changes in their skin after a month of using it. It was an honor to spend some one on one time with co-founder Victoria Galbraith Wachtel (pictured below), she recommended these for me: the Rose and Argan Oil and the Venom at night, the Glow in the mornings, and the Rose lip balm for all day long. It wasn't that long ago that I was telling you about the impressive amount of gold medals that Gloria Ferrer was obtaining for the outstanding quality of the products. The Glorious life is spreading around, and even Michael Kors was part of the new era with the launch of the Gloria Ferrer new label in Los Angeles. We have even inaugurated the new website, where you can arrange your visit to the winery, purchase special varietals, and also get really cute gift ideas like the poster above by artist Michael Schwab. GRAM PARSONS TRIBUTE IN JOSHUA TREE WITH TAPEÑA WINES

If you follow me on Twitter you already know that I spent last weekend in the desert with Tapeña Wines for the Gram Parsons tribute music festival at the Joshua Tree Inn. I tried the new Sweet Red, which they say it's great for food pairing and dessert, but I just love it by itself! The gentleman in the photos is my very good friend, the bassist Jokin Salaverria from the basque country, right before he played at the festival.

SAN FRANCISCO TRAVEL MEDIA DINNER WITH GLORIA FERRER

Laurie Armstrong (with me, above) is the lovely lady behind the institution San Francisco Travel. She arranged an elegant dinner at the Penthouse of Soho House West Hollywood where we had the opportunity to hear about the latest news of iconic San Francisco destinations such as the SF MOMA (Christine Choi, with me in the photo below), the Exploratorium, Pier 39, Sonoma County tourism, the Walt Disney Museum, Alcatraz Cruises, and the California Academy of Science (Kelly Mendez on the right in the first picture above). We celebrated the San Francisco Travel with a truly gem of Northern California: the Gloria Ferrer Royal Cuvee (67% Carneros Pinot Noir, 33% Carneros Chardonnay). We had a wonderful time!

HERVE LEGER BARBIE DOLL LAUNCH EVENT

Last night we celebrated the new Herve Leger Barbie doll launch in Melrose. The iconic Barbie was the guest of honor in this super chic event hosted by Lubov and Max Azria. Lubov personally worked with Mattel and designed not only this stylish couture outfits but also chose every detail from Barbie's make up to her pose (which I am trying to pull off above!). This is a vegan, gluten free, delicious cookie! I love sweets so much and I'm always looking for healthy options, these cookies were yum. Can't wait to taste more from Karlie's bakery.
