MANHATTAN, NYC
After last year's successful post on the Top 5 Hotels to Stay in NYC, and since NYFW is upon us, I wanted to dedicate a post to my favorite hotels in New York City 2014. I have been trying to find good pictures of these hotels, hope they give you a general idea. In general, the three of them are great for business (with work areas and sometimes meeting areas inside the room) and great beds (without dirty old bed covers, just clean white linens). If you need to book them, do it always with time, and you will be able to get a great rate for an outstanding hotel. Hope you like them and if you ever try them let me know on Twitter or Instagram.
The Standard East Village
You know I am a fan of everything Standard related, and in New York my favorite is the one in the East Village. Not only my favorite area in the city but also a great hotel if you need to stay in for a few days, feels like home. They do cool residence programs for writers, check it out at StandardCulture.com
Hotel Hugo
The Hotel Hugo had just opened when I stayed in last June, everything was working super smoothly soon after they started, they have a nice view to the river and it's a good spot to be in the centric areas of Soho but away from the noise and the masses of people.

Tribeca Grand Hotel
This is probably my favorite hotel in the city right now and I have stayed here several times. It's always been a cool spot (remember when I co-hosted that cool NYFW party with all those cool peeps?) but it wasn't until Paul Sevigny opened his club downstairs that I started booking my rooms in here. The staff is the best. the style, beds, room service, real low key meets luxury boutique hotel.
