THE AMFAR GALA IN NEW YORK 2014

PAUL'S BABY GRAND NEW YORK

TRIBECA, NYC

Fresh flowers daily, wallpapers imported from London, the best service from high trained waitstaff  who wear uniforms designed by style guru Chloe Sevigny, and real good music - from Talking Heads to Biggie Smalls. It's the size of your living room and there's only room for your closest friends (in the pictures I'm with illustrator Marcela Gutierrez, Vogue Italia's Stefania Pia, and Freixenet's Josep Ferrer), so welcome to the toughest door in New York City. This is Paul's Baby Grand, the newest and most exclusive nightlife concept from Paul Sevigny. Oops he did it again. Paul was the man behind the Beatrice, and behind Kenmare. But this time is even better: Baby Grand is more delicate, more intimate, more stylish and way more feminine (a pink bar anyone? Yep). It's quite the ladies place: I saw Lindsay Lohan and Natasha Lyonne at the opening during NYFW in September (see the party here), Alexa Chung predicated through Twitter her birthday celebration at Baby Grand, and Stefania Pia has a weekly Dj residence. But the gentlemen are welcome too, Terry Richardson was taking photos of Adrien Brody at a corner (how romantic), Andre Saraiva has graffiti'ed the restrooms and emergency exit, and Kanye West came say hi for the opening as well. It's located at the Tribeca Grand; make sure to have your dancing shoes on!

KENNETH COLE HOSTS A PRIVATE COCKTAIL PARTY AT HIS NYC HOME

UPPER EAST SIDE, NYC

While in New York, Eva and I visited Maria Cuomo and Kenneth Cole at their Upper East Side home for cocktails and to hear good news regarding AIDS research. Kenneth told us they expect to find the cure for AIDS by 2020, and we hope for that to happen.  It was a lovely evening, we could see the river from the window and the white landscape the snow had left. I was wearing a vintage Nuria Mora evening dress that I stole from Aunt Tete's closet, the outfit received quite a few compliments and one added "you look like the leader of a religion" which I take as a compliment as well.

LIFE BEYOND FASHION WEEK

I usually like to show you the bubbly lifestyle, the beautiful things in life, celebrations, happy people, those good moments. Fashion Week is undoubtedly a time when all those things collide, and I have taken you with me from the backstage to the front rows in London Fashion Week, backstage to front row (literally) during New York Fashion Week, showed off the designer clothes, and took you to the most amazing fashion parties. But during the last NYFW, I chose not to attend any fashion parties. I didn't attend any of the shows and I didn't wear designer clothes - instead I wore vintage clothes (yes, even to the amfAR gala) and this #NYFW charity sweater to raise awareness of the children in need. Thank you to all of those who have supported the cause already, there's still some sizes left, get yours here, all profits will go to help these children

PRETTY IN PINK FOR THE BAZAAR

WEST HOLLYWOOD & BEVERLY HILLS, CA

The other day while Enric Padro (partner of celebrity chef Jose Andres at Think Food Group) was in town, he kindly took my friend Sarah DeAnna and I to The Bazaar. It's located at the prestigious SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills and despite its prominent location I had never been! To be honest, I usually don't get excited to eat at Spanish places outside Spain (I am Spanish...) but I was greatly surprised by The Bazaar and, particularly, by their vegan menu! a whole menu of vegan delight. It was so good I can't wait to be back. We took some photos there but we did it with a phone and they turned out pretty bad... Logan took cool photos of the pink outfit I wore (before I let my hair down later on) that consisted of the cutest pink faux furry coat by Topshop, Adolfo Sanchez jewel'd mini dress, and the Topshop platforms I wear all the time (I have three pairs of these and I think I should get more, just in case you know). MANHATTAN BEACH, CA

Here I am with celebrity personal trainer Louie Diaz getting ready for Oscars week in Equinox. I met Louie in Equinox West Hollywood, but this time we went to Equinox in the South Bay. Louie created a series of exercises for me to be "red carpet ready": he told me the key to look good in the red carpet is to tone arms and legs, so you look fabulous when they are taking pictures. A quick session of 45 minutes already made a difference for me. Click here to try the personal trainer program at Equinox (and if you are in LA you should definitely ask for Louie). I was wearing my LA work out outfit: American Apparel leotard and leggings with LA Gear sneakers.

SUNSET BOULEVARD, HOLLYWOOD

Following with the Oscars week guide, I wanted to take you inside the Sunset Tower Hotel, where the iconic Vanity Fair party takes place every year after the ceremony. This building is one of Hollywood's emblems and a gem of the Art Deco architecture in Southern California. The twins from The Clop invited me to see the new collection of Etnia Barcelona and to enjoy the sunny pool day through their lens. Here I am at the suite enjoying the "sunset" of the Sunset Boulevard view. I was wearing nude Zara ballerinas and horse riding leggings, Club Monaco top, and Etnia Barcelona sunnies. HOLLYWOOD, CA

During Oscars Week I hosted an intimate TOPSHOP dinner party honoring 10 top influential professional women in Los Angeles for the Personal Shopper service of the brand. This service has its own separate, private areas, with comfortable sofas, professional stylists, as well as all sorts of candy and refreshment (including from now on the FREIXENET mini bottles), What else could a girl ask for? It was a ladies night, honoring the achievements of these incredible women: Ida Kay Khabazian, Iran Hopkins, Lauren Fortner, Lisa M Reider, Millie Brown, Missy Laney, Nunu, Rebecca Padilla, Sarah DeAnna, and Tina Poppy and toasting to the girls of the TOPSHOP team, lead by Kelly Egarian and Natalie Yuri. We gathered at ACABAR, a moroccan inspired beautiful restaurant in Hollywood with great service and really good food, that paired amazingly well with our cava. MILLIE BROWN SCREENING SERIES FOR FREIXENET AT SXSW

AUSTIN, TEXAS

Last South by Southwest I chose performance artist Millie Brown to be part of the Freixenet & Film event in Austin. Freixenet partnered with skateboarding clothing company HUF for the super cool and very relaxed HUF House. Millie's films were a bucolic sequence of abstract images that evoked nature, plants and animals, to me - very beautiful and peaceful.

LADY GAGA AND MILLIE BROWN BEHIND THE SCENES

AUSTIN, TEXAS

When I brought artist Millie Brown as part of the talent at the HUF House in SXSW, I didn't know she would do the most controversial performance of the year yet. On the way to Austin, she told me that her friend Lady Gaga was going to be in town and that she wanted to do some sort of collaboration. Actually, they both had already worked together for a music video of the singer's Monster Ball album, few years ago. Gaga is into Millie's "vomit art". Yep, one of Millie's most acclaimed work as performance artist is to drink colored soy milk and regurgitate it into a canvas. I know what you are thinking, I was shocked when I first saw her perform during Miami Art Basel 2013. But that's what art is, right? With Millie I experienced two days of rehearsals with Lady Gaga and her team, I was quite impressed with Gaga at work - she definitely runs the show, from choreography to the sound mixing deck. She told Millie that her "dream" was to be vomited on while riding a pig (I laughed, I guess only Gaga could have dreams like this), and Millie made her dream come true! When Millie went on stage, they automatically clicked, I was backstage and it looked like they rehearsed for a month. It didn't look gross to me then (maybe because I knew that was going to happen) but the faces of the front row were epic. It was very cool. Hope you like the behind the scenes pics of this now iconic moment of pop culture.

Actually, I wanted to publicly denounce that a photo I took of Millie Brown is published in People magazine but they didn't credit the author despite having been asked to do so, how uncool are they?

THE WORLD OF FROZEN INSIDE THE DISNEY ANIMATION STUDIOS

BURBANK, CA

I am very excited to share this with you because I'm a big Disney fan and because this is the first post of a series in which I'll show you the magic world of Disney from behind the scenes! As Frozen keeps collecting successes around the globe, I went inside Disney's Animation Building to find out the secrets of their biggest movie ever (secrets that I will reveal to you very soon). The Disney team had prepared many amazing surprises: I got to play around with the animation of Olaf's character (the snowman! Duh) and spent some time at the studio doing voice overs for a scene in Frozen. So much fun! Stay tuned to #MyDisneyStories and follow me via Twitter and now also in Instagram.
